In order to successfully implement Agenda 2030 and achieve the objectives of the Paris climate agreement, scientific research and knowledge are essential. In view of the tight time frame, the scientific community is now more than ever called upon to provide answers to the most important social and environmental questions and problems.
The German Committee Future Earth supports the international efforts and provides a platform for German researchers working on global sustainability. The third German Future Earth Summit with the motto "From Knowledge to Action" offers the opportunity for networking and exchange in various event formats.
HOCHN will be represented at the summit by project manager Dr. Claudia T. Schmitt.
