Climate Summit of Generations 2019 in Hamburg

On 18th und 19th October 2019 the Climate Summit of Generations with the motto "Stop re-financing the climate crisis! Support science and solutions that benefit our society and economy!" is held at the Universität Hamburg.
The Universität Hamburg is organizing the Climate Summit of Generations (CSG) in cooperation with the Club of Rome, Oikos and University College Dublin on 18th and 19th October 2019. The motto of the Summit is "Stop re-financing the climate crisis! Support science and solutions that benefit our society and economy" and offers scientists, activists of the Fridays for Future movement, members of the European Commission's Technical Expert Group for Sustainable Finance and financial experts the opportunity to discuss positions, actively seek solutions and exchange views on future collaboration.
In addition to workshops and keynotes, e.g. by Prof. Dr. Alexander Bassen (Universität Hamburg, director of the Center for a Sustainable University), Joeri Rogelj (Imperial College London, Lead Author of the IPCC's 1.5°C Report), and Joschua Wolf (Fridays for Future Berlin), panel discussions with all participant groups are planned on both days. With its interactive and solution focused design the ambition of the Summit is to promote the exchange of ideas among multiple parties and to catalyse the joint development of innovative solutions!
