Full success for Sustainability: panel discussion "hochschulklima.wandeln" at the Universität Hildesheim

Under the topic "hochschulklima.wandeln – Perspektive(n) für die Universität Hildesheim" a discussion forum of the Green Office Hildesheim on the sustainable development of the university tool place on 1 November 2017.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang-Uwe Friedrich, President of the University Hildesheim and Chairman of the State Higher Education Conference, Karina Schell, Coordinator of the Green Office Hildesheim, Johannes Geibel of the netzwerk n and Christine Stecker of the HOCH^N project, discussed constructively and stimulatingly with numerous members of Higher Education Institutions. The forum was moderated by Michael Flohr from netzwerk n.

The event concluded with concrete agreements on how sustainability can be further strengthened at the Universität Hildesheim. Furthermore, Prof. Friedrich welcomed the participation in the HOCH^N network as well as the discussed approaches of supplementing the university's mission statement with sustainability references as well as permanently establishing a sustainability committee at the university.
